Artist Bio
Yin Yue is a painter whose creative practice is deeply rooted in personal life experiences. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts at the University of Macau, she previously earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a focus on oil painting from Northeast Normal University. Her work often explores emotional fluctuations and atmosphere, seeking to transform everyday encounters into visual narratives. In 2024, her paintings were featured in the Excellent Graduation Exhibition, highlighting her early achievements. Through her art, she aims to invite viewers to resonate with subtle shifts of mood and the immersive presence of lived experience, creating a space where emotions and environments intertwine.

Artist Statement
Yin Yue’s artistic practice centers on painting, primarily in oil and digital media, as a way to navigate and express the subtle complexities of the inner world. Guided by intuition and emotions, the creative process unfolds spontaneously, allowing feelings to shape forms, colors, and atmospheres. Rather than beginning with rigid plans, Yin Yue embraces the uncertainties of expression, letting each work reveal itself in its own rhythm.
Through this practice, Yin Yue seeks to encourage viewers to reflect on questions and perspectives often overlooked in daily life. The atmospheres created are intended to evoke sensitivity to mood and invite contemplation beyond the surface of an image.
Currently, Yin Yue is in an exploratory phase, experimenting with methods and expressions in search of a personal style. This process of discovery is regarded as integral to the practice, serving not only to develop an individual artistic voice but also to build deeper connections between emotion, experience, and the act of seeing.

Unsaid
“Unsaid” is a collection of visual fragments about what remains unspoken.
The colors are muted, blurred, suspended in hesitation—like residues of emotion: incomplete, formless, yet persistently present.
These images do not tell a clear story; instead, they echo those half-sentences that linger inside: buried, deferred, swallowed—yet shaping the true contour of how we feel.
They are not answers, but the breath before one.
Not language, but the shadow of it.
The parts that keep growing quietly within silence—the unsaid.
